By caring about your community, whether that's your local neighborhood or your entire planet. Serving the greater good is a wonderful teaching shared by religious and non-religious folk alike. In my personal belief, if you need an external higher power to determine why you should act morally, then you are only acting out of fear or selfishness, not love and caring.
