Unless it's a really expensive high end laptop, you're better off calling it a loss and buying a new one. It is probably so damaged that the cost to repair it is more than you could buy a new one for. purchase a new lcd screen usually between 50-100$. After receiving screen in the mail remove all screws holding the laptop lcd bezel together carefully pull the bezel apart and unscrew the lcd from the brackets. Then carefully unplug all wires ran to the screen. Using new screen do steps in reverse and voila working screen.

∙ 11y agook so first off water on your screen would not brake it they tend to have a glass plate i front of them however if u manage to get it in to any of the internals if there is porting for ventilation ext then you probably shorted it out and what that means is that it is irreparable. this would be the case if just the screen is broken. but it may not be
if you got water in to the lap top it self you may have damaged the video car witch processes and creates the visual display on the screen or it may have just fed over something else in your computer. if that is the case you should be able to tell if it is your computer and not your screen by wether it turns on or not by turning on in the normal way and either A. hearing fans or indicator lights turn on. or B if you have another monitor hook it up to your lap top to check.
if your screen is broken from water damage get a new one.
