Try talking to that girl, start a conversation and then if she talks back then your in. If she ask you to do something you do it, even if its buying candy or roses. Then you'll start to impress her, if you and this girl start to talk more ask her about her and her boyfreind and if she says were great then keep waiting if she says were good then try a little bit harder, and then if she says were ok then your in the clear. Keep talking to her but not a whole lot you dont wont her to think that your a really good freind but still talk to her and then one day if she ask you "so do you like anybody" your gonna say YES and then if she says who? your gonna say ITS YOU.
