You are looking for liability only coverage. You should also consider uninsured & underinsured motorist coverage which will supply medical payments if you are injured by an uninsured or underinsured driver.

Do you need insurance for motorcycle in Delaware?

If you are going to ride your motorcycle on the road, you need insurance. This is in case of property damage or injury to your motorcycle or other person.

What is cheaper motorcycle insurance or car insurance?

Motorcycle insurance is by far cheaper. The reason being if you hit another car with a car you can do some serious damage even kill people. Now if you hit a car on a motorcycle you will probably only kill yourself. Insurance companies could care less about the damage you do to yourself, so they charge less than car insurance.

Will liability insurance cover damage to a person's vehicle caused by someone else?

NO, liability covers damage you do to someone else's property. Comprehensive insurance covers damage to your vehicle by someone else. If you have no comprehensive, then you will need to look to their insurance for recovery of damages.

Will liability insurance pay off your vehicle if it is totaled?

Your own liability insurance will never pay for the damage to your property or for your medical expenses. Your collision insurance pays for damage to your property, if it is your fault. Your Uninsured Motorist Insurance or Underinsured Motorist Insurance pays for damage to your property if caused by someone else who is uninsured or under-insured. Your liability insurance will pay for the damage to someone else's property or for someone else's medical expenses, if it is your fault. Someone else's liability insurance will pay for the damage to your property or for your medical expenses, if it is their fault.

What happens if you get into a motorcycle accident and you dont have insurance and its your fault in Florida?

You are responsible for the damage you cause in an accident, regardless if you are insured or not. Having insurance transfers your responsibility to pay for the damage from you to your insurance company. If there are injuries to the other party, then the other party's insurance should pay for their injuries, but you are still responsible for the property damage you have caused the other person.

IF SOMEONE that has no license or insurance and hits your car?

Well, first lets make a complete sentence out of this: Who pays for the damages if someone that has no license or insurance hits your car? The answer is different for medical expenses and physical damage to your car. Medical expenses can be paid by your insurance company if you have "uninsured/underinsured" coverage. This type of coverage is usually very inexpensive and I recommend everyone has it. Literally a few dollars per year. For property damage, you can sue the person, or your insurance can pay for it if you have full coverage (comprehensive/collision) insurance. Then it becomes their problem if they want to sue the person or not to get their money back.

Is an insurance company responsible for paying for motorcycle rental while your motorcycle is being repaired after an accident that was the other parties fault?

If the rental coverage is included in your policy, probably. However if the other parties insurance is accepting responsiblity for the damage then I would be asking them for a rental.

Will car insurance cover if you damage your own car?

If you intentionally do the damage then it is excluded and the policy will provide no coverage. <><><> To expand upon above answer, it depends on your insurance coverage. As said, deliberate damage is not covered. LIABILITY insurance covers damage you do to someone else or their property. COLLISION insurance covers damage you may do to your own car (by accident)
