You can't get rid of your homosexual feelings.

The best thing to do is talk to your wife, negotiate, and get a divorce. This sounds harsh, but it is the best answer in the long run. Otherwise you will go on and on, promising to your wife that you love her (and you do) and thinking about men, and in about 20 or 30 or 40 years time you will think back on your life, the only one you have, and be sad. Make the break now. It will be the best thing for your wife, and it will be the best thing for you. Trust me. == You should watch the movie,'but im a cheerleader'.

If you are in fact gay there is no way to make your feelings go away so you have to decide if you want to lie to the world and yourself about who you are for the rest of your life or accept yourself and all that entails. God does not make people gay. God does not make people straight. God allows us to become what we become, and loves us unconditionally for all eternity. So...pray not for change, but for acceptance. I know this is off-topic, but to the guy who changed his sexuality through God.... If God stopped you being gay, would it have been too much trouble to for Him to stop you being a narrow minded a*shole as well? The idea that you aren't born gay is ridiculous .. aside from being the opposite of what most scientific research has concluded. Virtually all medical professionals, sexuality researchers, and mental health experts regard homosexuality as a fixed, congenital orientation. Religious extremists that twist the words of The Bible (but rarely pay attention to the parts they themselves don't like) cannot be allowed to pursued you to live a lie. One question:Why did you marry this women if you knew you were gay?I don't know what to tell you. It's your choice to be gay or not. But it's unlikely you'll lose these feelings. I think you should tell your wife about your feelings and that you don't know what to do - in the long run it'll make things better and you may be able to work things out. If not, I hope you find happiness too. But if you were in love at any point, it would be safest to end the marriage and stay as friends. Salvage the relationship!

You can convince yourself of anything if you try hard enough, but why should you? You may have to reevaluate some things about yourself but that's just part of living. Almost everyone is raised with the assumption that they are straight and are going to more or less follow the pattern of their parents. You play the role you are expected to play and you yourself assume is the the way you are supposed to be. One day you notice that you are attracted to someone who happens to be the same sex and think this is wrong. Just the opposite is true, you are finally living your life the way you were meant to instead of how people expected you to live it. It's your life, you should do what makes you happy or at least gives you the chance to be. You will be far better off in the long run to come to terms with yourself and admit that these feelings are natural and right for you.
