It depends. Being yourself and hoping for the best is always a way to go, but if you simply don't want to do that, follow these easy steps:
1. Look good for them! (I'm presuming that you are a girl, as am I). Don't look fake, please. Most guys look for real, genuine girls, girls that they can feel comfortable around. Try not to plaster on your makeup or wear eyeshadow shades like blue, or green -__- even black is a little risky. I would say light tan, brown, and pinks look best.
2. Find out what he likes..is he into country, alternative, heavy metal, hip hop, Dubstep, reggae, etc. Listen up on his music so you can have something to talk about, and maybe buy a shirt that symbolizes it. (Ex. If he is into reggae, buy a Bob Marley tee or a shirt with the Rastafarian colors.)
3. Try not to act immature in front of him, but don't act too serious either. You want to show him that you are a fun person but not that you are five years old.
4. BE YOURSELF. Even though you may think that if you act like who you really are he wont like you, then he isn't worth it. Seriously, you want to be with someone who likes you for you, and not just for someone that you are trying to be.
