Does your wood moldings smell like something the dog would like to eat?
If so, you might want to give the dog some type of kong toy, one that you squeeze a bottle of paste (liver paste maybe) on it and the dog chews on it till the paste is gone. And if not, do the same thing anyway (maybe without the paste this time).
The chewing kong toy might distract the dog from the walls. Some dogs chew on stuff they shouldn't because they have to chew something!
While doing this, stop the dog whenever it's biting the wood. But DON'T GIVE THE DOG THE CHEWING TOY WHILE IT IS CHEWING. That is rewarding the dog for biting the wood. Try that for 2 weeks, if you don't see improvement, ask the question again with writing what you did. I'll see about it.
PS: Some dogs respond quickly to an "ouch". Try that. But it might annoy other dogs.
