Any dentist can remove orthodontic braces. If you are brave, you can order an orthodontic brace remover from eBay for $30 and try it yourself. I know when my orthodontist removed my braces he used a pair of pliers that have a cap that fits over the end of the tooth and a little end that pulls against the brace glued onto the tooth. I have met one person who removed their own braces. Be careful because teeth can break.
Braces are the accual thing that makes em' BRACES. brackets are the little things that hold them together.
