maybe because they are to tired to jump up

Dog bites heal because it almost the same as a cut you have something in your blood that are like disk the block any blood from flowing out of a cut and help the cut heal that is what happens with a dog bite but make sure to clean the cut as well a dogs mouth may carry allot of bacteria

I have gotten my dog to release from a bite just by saying owww really loud. He doesn't like it when I am uncomfortable. We play a lot and sometimes he does accidentally bite my hand but the second I say ow he automatically lets go. You can also teach them the command easy when you play. That helps a lot

Dogs saliva have healing antibodies so they lick all their wounds, if the bite is too bad I suggest seeing a vet though
