"It comes with an adapter" No - all the adapter does is makes it from a micro SD card into a (standard size) SD card.

Not sure you can do anything to convert it from SDHC to SD as they physically address the memory differently. Your equipment has to be SDHC compatible to read/use them.

* SD compatible equipment - Will read/write to SD cards but WILL NOT read/write SDHC cards

* SDHC compatible equipment - Will read/write both SD and SDHC cards

MicroSD is a type OS Memory-card, usually found in cellphones and protable media-devices. To use an MicroSD-card in a USB-port you will need a MicroSD-capable (or Mini-/normal SD with adapter) USB Memory-card reader, they can be optained cheaply from local Computer-shop, Camera-store or almost any shop that sells Domestic/Electrical Appliances.

Why doesnt the 4gb memory card work in your digital camera?

It's likely that your 4GB card is an "SDHC" card, and your camera is an older camera that was designed before the SDHC format came out. Although SDHC cards look exactly like standard SD cards, they are not. If your camera is a few years old, only SD cards of 2GB or less (standard SD cards) will work with your camera. But hang onto that 4GB card. One day you'll have a newer camera that will make good use of it.

Is there any difference between SDHC and microSD memory cards?

SDHC memory cards are the advanced version of SD cards. Sd holds from 8 MB to 4GB of memory where as SDHC starts off at 4 GB and goes up. The data transfer rate is much higher with SDHC also but you have to make sure the digital camera accepts the card by looking in your manual before purchasing.

Which memory card can I use in both my cell phone and my digital camera?

It all depends on the ports in your phone. But a regular SD card is most common in a camera. Most cell phones use a micro SD card. Micro is the way to go. they make a special chip that looks like a regular SD card but it has a slot to put a micro into so you can use the micro in a regular SD slot.

How do you get games on your R4?

If you bought the original R4DS you will need a microsd card that is not SDHC (high capacity). They max out at 2 gigs (4 gig nearly impossible to find) If you bought a version of r4ds that reads SDHC, you can pretty much get any microsd card (I'd recommend a 4gb....i have a 2gig and i can barely play all the games i have) After you have your microsd card, plug it into your computer using a card reader or some type of adaptor. Goto the manufactorers website of your r4 card and download the firmware files and put them on your microsd card. Make a folder called games, and put your .nds files in there.

Yes there is a Sim card reader out there with the software but if your phone has a insert for a micro SD card you can transfer phone contacts, music and a few other things to the micro SD and use a micro adapter to make it into and reg. size SD card and transfer to the laptop. San disk makes both disk and converter for about the price of a regular SD card look in the phone or photo section of a store for one.

Finding a Cheap, Quality Micro Memory Card?

Getting a micro memory card is one of the best decisions you can make if you need to transfer large volumes of data back and forth wherever you go. Not only can these cards hold images, but they can also hold anything that is within the size limit of the card. When you buy a generic micro memory card, you are able to get a product that is just as good as the brand name but much cheaper.
