How do you put the top down on a Mercedes slk230? there should be a button on the middle console that operate the convertible, that's how i let my convertible down on my 1999 slk kompressor
It may or may not be. There was an automatic and a manual transmission option for the Solstice.
release on SAAB 900 S convertible
The top is hydraulic and there is no override...unfortunately the answer is "you can't." however, in the shop manual a full schematic of the top ssytem is shown, so if you need to troubleshoot a bad relay or motor the shop manual has the info you need.
Disconnect the moter from the gears and the top should lift right up.
No.All Murcielago convertibles are soft tops and have to be manually folded down.
Not fun. Your probably going to have to remove the rear seat or rear panels and access/disconnect the drive mecahnism. Maybe you'll get lucky and you can just unhook the linkage and lower it that way. Hope that helps. from the trunk, remove hyd. fluid from the conv. top pump, operate top by hand. worked for me for years
In order to adjust the convertible top on a 2005 PT Cruiser, a person would need to assist it by hand. The pressure that makes it close is by hydraulic pressure and must be assisted manually.
To open a convertible top for a Mercedes CLK 430 manually, open the trunk. There is a switch located in the trunk if the driver's switch fails. The switch is located in the far reaches of the trunk next to where the top and the trunk meet.
Unlatch the latches at the top of the window, then press the convertible top button down. this button is located near the armrest. If this does not work you must aquire a new convertible top motor. from the trunk, remove hyd. fluid from the conv. top pump, operate top by hand. worked for me for years
On the console , in front of the armrest ( according to the owners manual )
To keep clear so you dont get injured.
