Can any body tell me how to delete files premanently in Mac OS instead of moving them to Trash and then emptying it.
There's no such shortcut on mac unfortunately. However, it can performed by writing an apple script. Check this forum....

I used it before and it did work.
To delete a document either drag it to the Trash basket in the dock or right click on the document and select Move To Trash from the menu. Click on the Trash basket icon and select Empty Trash from the menu that pops up.
You cam delete a folder of documents or hold the Command key down and click on several documents to select several documents.
Firstly, you drag the file to the trash. Then, just empty the trash by right-clicking and then selecting "Empty Trash"
The trash is similar to the recycle bin in Windows
Just drag and drop them in the trash can. Or right click and send to trash.
