I have a Virgin Mobile Slider Sonic, and I plug my USB cable into the computer and just drag the songs i want to it. Mind you, that you are using a transflash or a Micro SD card, you can put whatever you want on the card, it might not (or in most cases, will not) show up on the phone...
Your phone comes with a USB cable that hooks to your phone. while it's hooked up, your phone is off and in file transfer mode. Most likely, you need to be running Windows XP on your comp to use it, but once you get the hang of it, you'll be able to do cool things with it. (I think you can send people songs from your phone, but read the manual to be sure!)
By the way, mp3 is the main format of phone songs. So, if necessary you can use this Daniusoft video file covnerter to extract songs from video or convert audio to .MP3 format songs...

∙ 12y agoMusic can be stored on a cell phone via SD card. An SD card can be purchased a Wal Mart and other such department stores, as well as at most cell phone stores. To put music on to the SD card, insert the SD card into the designated slot in your computer tower, you may need an adapter to do so. To put the music on the phone simply connect your phone to a computer via USB (should come with the phone) then go to control panel. In the control panel section of your computer you should see the name of your cell phone. By clicking on the phone and then dragging and dropping songs into the folder you can put them on your phone. Finally simply put the SD back into the designated slot on your phone, and you will then be able to play the songs in your multimedia as usual.
