You can't recover it but you can save it to a removable usb save drive that you can get in GameStop for like 20 bucks or something and then you can just copy and paste it to whatever xbox you're using. (i think i never actually tried this but I've been told this is possible)
No. When you go to recover it, it asks for the email address of the account and the password for that email address.
Go to "Recover gamertag" when selecting an account. You'll then have to enter your gamertag, the email you used for it, and the password.
Simply go to www.xbox.com and type in the email address linked with the gamertag.

Well, first you turn on the Xbox. Once you are on the dashboard go to the sign in slide and on the last slide all the way to the right it should say recover gamertag. You will need to know your gamertag, email, and password to recover it and depending on whether or not it is your first time recovering it to that specific Xbox and how high your gamerscore is will decide how long it will take to download.
As long as they are okay with you having it then get them to give you the email address and the password necessary to recover the gamertag. What you need to do is go to the area that allows you to choose a profile to sign into, create an account or RECOVER A GAMERTAG. If there is DLC on the account then you may need to transfer the licenses. Make sure that they are not using the account an they consent to you taking it first.
I am not sure that an email address lookup will help you recover all you missing information since not every email address will be in that database.
yes you can all you need is your old password and email then go to user and pick use a old account and then you sould get it.
