Need to know if the vehicle has rear disc brakes or drum brakes and which part of the e-brake system you want to remove, front cable, rear cables, e-brake linings, etc.
I own a 2006 Mazda Tribute I. I am not a mechanic but I recently adjusted my E-brake, and this what I discovered... The E-brake adjustment nut is located under the E-brake leather cover (directly to the left of the E-brake lever). You have to remove the E-brake cover and tighthen the bolt to the proper adjustment.
A banshe motor is larger than a blaster motor. Will it fit (in the frame) yes, is it a easy fit no. The mounts used for a blaster motor will not match for a banshee motor. You will have to weld in mounts for the motor to sit, which would include lining up the sprockets. We could discuss further if need be. If you need more help feel free to e-mail me at banshee4drag@yahoo.com
How do you change the front brake pads on a Ford E-250 van? cannot remove the pads from assembly.
Lift the car, remove the tire and set it aside, remove the brake shoe/caliper, remove the brake pad and dispose of it. Put in the new brake pad, replace the brake shoe/caliper, put the tire back on the car, and lower the car to the ground.

no
at the rear brakes. remove wheels, & brake drums, adjust rear brakes to specs, and the E-brake will automatically be adjusted.
remove the wheel and take off the two bolt the bolt the brake caliper and the rotor should just slide off. Remember to release the e-brake before trying to slide it off, if it is hung up it's because of the e-brake shoes that are behind the rotor or is just surface rust and with a little penetrating lube and a rubber malet it will come free.
Brake switches are located behind the brake pedal of a vehicle. To change one remove the lower dash and reach the switch. It will be thread into a bracket. Unscrew the switch from the bracket.
