you need special release keys for the head unit to be removed they pus in the slots on the side of the head unit lock in and then you can full it out. check out this site it has pictures and step by step instructions on how to do it. abella.net/vw/changer.shtml hope this helps sharky

hi the oil filter for your bora is located next to the dip stick you will have to remove the dip stick then the black cover with vw on it just lifts off you will see the dip stick hole the oil filter is to the right the thing with the black top to it this screws off and the paper oil fiter is in side hope this helps
