How can you get your small dogs to go outside when it is bitterly cold outside?

Open the door and gently push the animal out. Then close the door and wait. Just remember, if it's really bitterly cold, try not to leave the animal out for more than around three minutes at the most. Then, if it doesn't work the first time, try, try again every 30 minutes or so. (Give the dog time to warm up.)
