There are several signs to look for to find out if your dog has worms. Any abnormal behavior is the obvious choice. You know your dog better then anyone. Such symptoms as coughing, low energy and pot belly are signs. Some worms are easily detected by spotting worms in their fecal matter (poop)! But the easiest way to find out for sure is to take your dog to the vet.

∙ 10y agoDogs can be very noticeable to their owner when they have worms. You may see them drag their rear end across carpeting or other types of flooring. If you suspect your dog may have worms it is best to take him or her to a veterinarian as soon as possible for immediate treatment.
