Next time you feel shy, take one step over the Line of Shyness, and do what you were to shy to do! It feels so good, when you finally achieved it! :D
Get a friend that you trust and start doing that thing your shy of and do it with him over and over and over again and the person that is helping should also do it. and once you have mastered it one on one take it to the next level and do it with several people and then if you feel comfortable already then just continue to do it and if not find other ways to keep helping you etc and eventually it will work everything it possible if you put your mind and effort to it.
The people your shy of are no better than you, just be yourself no matter what people think of you, because there will always be someone who doesn't like you and there will always be at someone who does, just stick with that person. :)
