You cannot fixe a bent wheel. Replace it. Auto Salvage yard is a good place to purchase a replacement.
Get an alignment.
Nope.
Well when that happened to me i had snapped the shaft and also buckled the tyre... so check those out.
Have the front end aligned.
The opposite of buckled (strapped in, or bent) would be "unbuckled."The word buckled as in bent or deformed could have the opposites "straight" or "unbent."
high pitched squeal from left front wheel does not stop when I apply the brakes. It will stop when I turn the steering wheel even a little bit but returns when I straighten out again
The steering wheel will have to be removed, turned to the proper place, then reinstalled. If there is an air bag system it will have to be disconnected first.
The most effective and accurate way is to take it to a local reputable auto repair facility that has an alignment rack. Have them do a complete alignment. Your steering wheel should be straight after.
fastened
straighten straighten
you need a wheel balance when wheels are off for balancing, have then checked to make sure none are out of round or slightly buckled
There will need to be an alignment done on the vehicle to straighten the steering wheel properly. The adjustment to make it straight is called a "toe Adjustment". If it pulls while driving causing the steering wheel not to be straight it will need a Caster or Camber adjustment or all of these may need adjustmnet.
