Follow these steps: Settings app > General > Passcode Lock > Enter passcode > Turn Passcode Off > Enter passcode once more
Restore it, then all info wiped off even passcode.
settings-general-passcode-set your passcode(it can be a 4-number passcode or a letter one--to get a letter one, turn off the simple passcode)
Try connecting it to your computer and syncing. When I have had a disabled iPod this has worked for me.
If you mean passcode (safety lock, asks for code on wake up):go to Settings on the Home Screen> General> Passcode Lock> (enter your passcode)> Turn Passcode Off> (enter your passcode again)
The only way to prevent access to an iPod Touch that was stolen is if you have a passcode on it.
settings/general/pass lock... once you get to the pass lock section enter your current passcode(if you have one), once in you can simply turn on or off the Simple Passcode option. if this option is on you only have a 4 digits passcode, when turned off you can make your super passcode with letters
Go into the Settings app on your iPod... Click general --> passcode lock --> enter your password You should now have the ability to turn the password on and change it etc. Hope this helped!! ;)
When you unlock a passcode that has been forgotten on your iPod Touch, all of your songs will unfortanetly be deleted, and you will have to put all of them back on. But if you are CHANGING your passcode, off of the settings button on your iPod Touch, nothing will happen to your current memory.
Enter your 4-digit passcode. If it is not your iPod Touch, do not attempt to hack it, since hacking is illegal in most places. If it is your iPod, you have to restore it through iTunes if you forgot the passcode.
reset your itouch job done will teach you to remember the code :P The important thing to remember is to Set-up as a new iPod and not restore from back up. The latter will result in the restriction code still being there. Resetting the pass code is easy. for detail steps read this ( http://proanswers.org/322/my-ipod-touch-forgot-my-restrictions-password-what-should-do )
Go to "Settings" then go to "General" and scroll down until you see "Passcode Lock" tap this and once entering your passcode you will have the option to disable the passcode.
