How do you teach your cats to hunt rabbits?

cats will hunt down and kill anything from bears to sword fish. this is not a lie because i have seen this done in my backyard. rabbits are just there warm up for larger pray there just very fast that is the only challenge. fyi cats love cake also

Take it to an area with lots of bushes. Let them of their leash. Naturally they'll want sniff around. Eventually they'll find a trail. Praise them. It may take a few times for them to easily find rabbits.

One cannot imagine why you would actively want to teach your cat to catch birds, but reasons aside, it is not something that will come easily if the cat doesn't already have a natural instinct to catch birds. You can try and pique your cat's interest by making a toy made out of feathers and playing with your cat that way.

Well its not really that hard all you have to do is make sure that the rabbits cage or hutch is generally high up and that the cat can see that the rabbit is friendly and the rabbit can do the same for the cat and they will more than likely just ignore eachother from that day onward really

What you are supposed to do is train them try playing with stuffed bunnies make the stuffed Bunnie move and hop and then get a real Bunnie and see how it reacts
