this is how you will tell if your parakeet is a boy or a girl female parakeets have Ceres which is the nose on top of there beak and if it is the color
Tan/Brown (in breeding season) or Pink than it is female
purple/light blue/dark blue or white (under a year old) than it is male :)
It all depends on how old and what time a year it is but other than that you can tell the difference between a male and a female!
You can also tell the difference from the color of their noses. If the nose it blue it's a male if it's pink it's a girl.
Cere color that is! The only visual way to tell is by the color. (Male blue or deep purple, female pink or brown) Juvenile parakeets will usually have the same colration as a female. So be patient, or you can take the bird to the vet and have a DNA test.
The male has a light blue colour on top of his cere-nostrill and the female generally has a brown or light pink cere. Sometimes the cere stays white so you can't tell what gender it is. There is 2 ways of figuring out wheather they are a boy or girl. 1. Put a pretective glove on, if it bites hard it is a girl. But, if it bites softly it would be a boy. If your not satisfied with that then try the 2nd test. 2. put the ones that your not sure what gender they are in a big cage with some breeding boxes. The femals will lay the eggs and the males willmate with the females and feed the chicks later on.
to tell you look at there nostrill if it is blue or purple
As they grow up a male parakeet gets a blue nose (The thing above the beak) and the female get a mire milk like nose?
You can tell by the colour around the nostrils. If it's a dark bluey colour, it's a boy. If's it's more pinkish brown, girl.
if their beak is kind of blueish, purplish then its a boy
I don't think so. I read that adult female parakeets noses are brown and that adult male parakeets noses are blue. But, young female parakeet's noses are "bluish" and a young male parakeet's nose is pink.
Probably when they are very affectionate with one another or you have baby parakeets.
to tell you look at there nostrill if it is blue or purple
female
Maybe
sometimes
Depends on the male if it usually goes in the nest then yes
The female and male parakeet do a cloaca kiss and make a baby bird deedadee
you can leave them together all the time
Female parakeet may be aggressive and sighted the bird as a territory threat or vice-versa. Female birds become anxious if they have eggs
On the parakeet is a colored patch above the beak (cere); in males light to dark blue and female pinkish to tan, or brown if breeding; immature of both sexes are pinkish to pinkish blue.
