How can you tell if a guy likes you even if he doesn't seem to show it because he is too 'cool'?

well you cant if hes not showing any thing. does he look at you with intense eye , not angry , like sexy ,, lol you know what i mean or no... or does he flirt with you when his boys arent around .. does he say hi or smile at you when hes with his boys or no...if not... he probably doesnt like you .

Well, when his boys aren't around him, yeah he's a flirt xD And he looks at me with an "eye" if that's what you call it. And he'll smile and say "what's up". See, I'm a freshman, he's a senior. I have known him for 3 years now, and we used to hang out ALL THE TIME and we would just talk and stuff. Now that he's a senior we don't hang out as much, but we still talk and I flirt, sometimes xP I don't know if he knows that's what I'm doing. But does it mean he has a girlfriend if he always has girls around him? That's the part that is somewhat making me not know what to do. Having known him for so long, I know him really well, and he knows me. I have seen him cry and we've hugged (friend hug), so we are close. I just wish it wasn't so hard to talk to him :( he is the first guy I have ever been serious about...

Because a boy says he loves you doesnt always mean he loves you. That doesnt mean that he doesnt THINK he loves you and it could just be puppy love but if even tells his ex girlfiend that he does love you, then I wouldn't worry about anything. He's totally into you!

If the girl doesnt like you she is not going to go out with you and if she does go out with you without liking you, she is feeling bad for you or using you or something. And that's not what you need. You need to find someone that you like that likes you back, because if they don't like you back its not a good relationship, if you would even consider it a relationship at all. You deserve someone who likes you for who you are, and doesnt want you to be someone your not.

If they cant help but smile @ you but don't say much. Thier friends may start to talk to you just to wind her up & if she hardly talks to you it doesnt mean she doesnt like you it means she likes you even more. As long as you realise she likes you and take it slowly it should be fine & don't jump to conclusions that she does or doesnt like you because of what i just said, it is just advice.
