normally it stamped onto a logo, but one difference is the power steering pump. 2.7 the reservoir is mounted on the pump, 3.7 the reservoir is connected to the pump via return lines
I had to replace the engine in my 2002 Intrepid and it cost me a good $3,500. They have to match the year and vin number up with a compatible engine and the mechanic will need to tear the whole front end apart to lift the engine in/out. I can tell you there are very few engines left when I was searching for one a month ago.
Hey Joseph==If you are really interested in changing the engine, go to the parts store and get a manual on your car. It will tell you how. GoodluckJoe
Take It Off Amd Inspect It.
first you have to find out why its on.advance auto parts or autozone have the computer to tell you why its on and that will reset it or disconect the battery for a few mins and that will do it also.
Bad bearing Bad valve
should be in the serial #, I can tell just by looking at the engine.
Look on your exhaust manifold on the back side of the engine for a tube running to a valve with a sensor and vacuum line
you can contact any dodge dealer and give them the last 8 digits of your vin and the can tell you everything you have on that car.
Base models had the 2.7L V6, the upper-level ES models had the 3.5L V6
Counter clockwise to remove.
Yes, It will tell you bank 1 or 2 then sensor 1 or 2 ...Bank 1 is the exhaust pipe coming from the side of the engine with cylinder 1. Sensor 1 is before the catalytic converter, and sensor 2 is after the catalytic converter.
You need a special tool available at some parts stores to rent and they can tell you how to use it.
