Bad seal Bad spring Bad neck on radiator
your radiator clogged up.cheaper to get a new radiator. nothing to do with the radiator cap.
Overheating due to coolant going to the reservoir and not coming back to the radiator because of the bad cap.
Bad thermostat, fans not working or coming on when they are supposed to, bad waterpump, bad radiator or radiator cap.
A bad radiator cap needs to be replaced as soon as possible. Fluid can leak out causing the car to overheat. Constant overheating can lead to expensive repairs. The average radiator cap costs less than $10.00, so it's worth the investment.
You may have a bad radiator cap.
Low coolant? Radiator dirty or plugged? Bad thermostat? Bad water pump? Cooling fans not working? Bad radiator cap?
how can you tell if you need a radiator in a 99 cadillac northstar engine
Bad thermostat, cap and radiator is a common cause.
bad radiator cap
it will pobablyuse a 13lbs. cap but when you go to the parts store they will tell you
You might need to either replace your thermostat or the radiator itself. I can't tell what "tube" you're talking about, but it COULD just be the radiator cap that's bad and you're venting into the tube that goes to the coolant recovery reservoir. If that's the case, just get a new radiator cap. If the radiator hose is leaking, replace it. Unfortunately, I can't tell what's wrong from your description.
