A good way to tell is change your oil. When a head gasket blows you will have water in your oil or oil in your water system. Check these 2 areas for water and oil.

White smoke is an indication of a blown head gasket. Stop driving this car immediately. Although the compression is not great, it is not bad enough to warrant an expensive overhaul. If on the other hand you find that the head gasket has indeed blown, then you might want to just go ahead an overhaul the engine as the head will have to be removed anyway. You will need more than just new rings. the head gasket test came negative. The head gasket is fine. whast wrong with it. Is the turbo leaking oil
The head gasket itself cost around $125 USD, however you could spend up to $1000 in labor to replace it. Around $750 was the price my company charged for it.
When installing the cr 125 head gaskets, make sure to check the surfaces for any old gasket materials or scratches. Check the head to make sure that it isn't warped. Make sure that the cylinder pressure isn't too high. Tighten the head bolts in the proper sequence and at the proper torque, and the gasket should stop blowing.
replace the cylinder gasket and check for cracks and replace the head gaskets
Either your valves aren't seating and sealing properly, or your piston rings are bad. At worst, your cylinder walls have gotten scored and gouged. You could also have a blown head gasket between the two weak cylinders.
im looking for the gasket ring for my bike
what type of oi;?? transmission or engine oil??if its engine oil your head gasket is blown,,,,,,not an easy fix,,, Improvement....done by sickofjunk Some of the Lumina radiators have oil lines and transmission lines hooked to them if this is the case with your car then there maybe a crack in the plastic tank on the side of the radiator I would recommend checking that before replacing the head gasket much cheaper and a lot easier if you bring it to a shop it usually will run about $125 for a replacement tank parts and labor included; if you do it on your own it will probably cost about $50. If it has no oil lines connected to the radiator then it is most likely the head gasket, and well that's not gonna be fun.
The approximate cost to change an oil pan gasket, on your Ford Taurus, is $125. The oil pan gasket can be purchased for $10.
If you are getting exhaust smoke coming out of the radiator overflow, you need to replace the head gasket that seals the cylinder from the cylinder cap where your coolant runs through to cool the engine.
on my '03' 125SX the head bolts should be 18nm.
