How can you tell if you have a regular g20 or a g20 Sportvan and how do you know if you have a 305 or a 350 for a motor if you cannot tell by looking?

Look on the identification tag under the hood it should show what liter it is. A 305 is 5.0L a 350 is a 5.7L. Someone here might tell me I'm wrong but I believe all G series vans are sport vans unless they are decked out from the factory and those are Beauville vans. Both should have that on the front fenders. If you have a H in your V.I.N its a 305 Bowtiefan.
