Forget about them being "glo fish". That is just SPIN. Glo fish are a genetically altered common fish made to glow artificially. They are in reality Zebra Danios (Brachydanio rerio). The females are slightly larger and plumper in the tummy than the males which are more slim lined.
you cant tell it from the outside. only from the insides
Female glofish are just like female danios, they will have larger bellies especially when full of eggs. They can lay eggs farely often.
They are the same to sex as all other Danios. The males are slimmer and have slightly more colour on the fins.
Female danios are much chubbier and slightly larger than the males when fully grown.
yes as long as there are not any other males or female bettas
There should be no "arch" to any Danios back whether it be male or female. An "arch" in the back is a genetic spinal deformity cause by inbreeding.
Female Betta fish can be fairly good community style fish and should be fine. Male Bettas would massacre the community.
Both glow. but male fireflies would glow brighter as they have 2 'bulbs' while female fireflies only have 1
Feeder fish, How do you tell male from female of the?
Yes, the female clown fish is larger than the male.
Do you mean female and male? If so, then the female betta fish is smaller and less elaborate than the male.
male
Zebra danios are not live-bearing fish, so they do not get pregnant. Instead, the female will lay eggs, and the male will fertilize them. The eggs will hatch about 2 days after being fertilized.
Male Betta fish will attract a female by flaring and showing off their long flowing fins.
They can come either as male or female.
