You can pretty much bet on full or modified, but the actual determination of choke is made by comparison the inside diameter of the muzzle to the inside diameter of the barrel before the bore. sales@countrygunsmith.net
Not finding that model in my references, but just about any Western Field shotgun is going up shy of $200.
around $125, if in good shape
Your western field shotgun was made by mossberg. This mossberg model 500B is not that old having been made from 1962-1998.At this time If you can find out when Montgomery wards went out of busines(house name for western field) and go back to 1962 you will have some idea of the age of your shotgun.
The 12 gauge pump Western Field shotgun, M550ABD with a c-lect choke is valued at $200 in good condition. It is valued at $100 in fair condition.
200
hello just want to know the value of the gun and is it made by browing or mossenburg
C-LECT-CHOKE
The Western Field M160 is the Model 385T 20 GA made by Mossberg. These models were only manufactured in 1982. The Mossberg Model 395 is the 12 GA version. More info at: http://home.epix.net/~damguy/mossberg_shotgun_models.htm
The western field model m550cr shotgun was made in the U.S.A. at montgomery wards around 1950. One of the very few shotguns to have a c-lect or select choke on it. Though it is a cheap gun today, it is one of the finest shooting out there. I know this because I own one myself. I hope this helped you.
Mossberg 'Western Field' Model 150 .410 bore bolt- action repeating shotgun with a 24" full-choke barrel in 93% condition or better. This gun looks as if it has seen very little use. We grade conservatively, so you will be happy with your purchase! This gun is actually labeled 'Western Field' which is a store brand (Montgomery Ward's). This is actually a Mossberg 183 shotgun without the adjustable choke. A fine choice for a first shotgun, for hunting squirrels or rabbits, or for general utility use.

Browning did not make an Invector model. That is the type choke system of the shotgun.
