The simple answer to adjust the carb you have is to connect a vacuum gauge to a vacuum port on the intake manafold. Start the engine, let it warm to normal operating temp. adjust the fuel/air mixture screws. You are looking for the highest smoothest reading on the gauge. as you adjust you will want to turn the idel speed to a lower rpm. Anything further, you will need to take the carb to a pro. The smaller the carb the better the fuel mileage but performance will suffer. For a four barrel carb the smaller the primaries the better.

Can a big turbo charger cause engine damage?

It's more about the tune-if you have enough fuel, strong enough pistons/rods/crank, etc., with the correct tune, you can have a huge or a small turbo on an engine. If you just put a bigger turbo on a vehicle and do not add fuel and tune, your engine will suffer.

How do you tune air and fuel mixture at 4af engine?

To tune the air and fuel mixture on a 4AF engine, you can adjust the carburetor's mixture screw, which regulates the fuel flow into the air stream. Start by warming up the engine and then slowly turn the mixture screw while monitoring engine performance, aiming for the highest idle speed or smoothest operation. Additionally, ensure that the air filter is clean and that the carburetor is properly calibrated for the engine's specifications. Always perform adjustments in small increments and test drive to assess changes in performance.

Is a stock 99 dodge 5.9L gas V8 injected or carburated?

All newer cars are fuel injected. But some are carburetored fuel injection(CFI) and some are tune port injected (TPI). The CFIs share an injector or injectors in a carburetor valve body like the old carburetors, and the TPIs have an injector at or in each cylinder for that cylinder only.
