You need your operator's folder. In there is a booklet about the radio. it will have a code you need to enter to get the radio out of "safe" mode. the code is unique to each radio and car.
I have an 1996 Audi Quattro A6 i changed my batteri and my radio went to safe mode. How do i get my radio off safe mode?
i got it i had to hold down AS and RDS to input the code.
you need the 4 digit code that came with the vehicle s radio maybe original dealer has a record of it
You need the serial number from the side of the radio and also the VIN number. You call an Audi dealership and give them the two numbers and for a $30.00 fee they will give you the radio code to take the radio off of "safe" mode. Lewis Powell
Your safe code for your radio is unique to the vehicle. You can go have it reset at an Audi dealership for $20-40 dollars.

The Radio "Anti-theft" code use to given from dealer ( first owner bought the car) If you don't have or lots the code you only can get the code from dealer. In manual book "Audio Symphony" book have the radio code it calls "Radio card"
There is not available information for what the code 00144113244569 is from. It is not typically a code that is used to unlock doors or a safe, it is to long for those uses.
Try turning on the ignition, turning on the stereo, and waiting for one hour (don't touch any buttons). After one hour "SAFE" mode should deactivate and you can enter the code. Try disconnecting the battery and the re-connect. I have an '09 which came from the dealer in SAFE 2 mode. The service dept was closed and no one knew how to fix. I tried the method mentioned above and it did not work. Disconnecting the battery and re-connecting did work however.........I didn't even have to enter the radio code.
