The iTunes Library is a data base with information about all your media. It does NOT contain the actual media, which can be anywhere that is connected to your computer.
You either have to move the actual media or share the Library if you want to use the media on another computer, either a Mac or a PC.

If you have iTunes program installed on your computer and the computer is connected to the Internet then you have all you need
Add them to your iTunes software library (on your computer), then when your iPod nano is connected via the cable you can drag them to your iPod Library. You add them to the iTunes software library either by downloading them from the iTunes store or if they already exist on your computer, go to FILE menu and ADD FOLDER. This will then list them in the iTunes library where you can drag them to the iPod.
You can download it on iTunes.
If in Windows XP, your iTunes Library was in your My Music folder (C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\My Documents\My Music\iTunes), in Windows Vista, it should be located here: C:\Users\[username]\music\iTunes
You can as long as you have authorised your MacBook via iTunes.
