Ifound out how to change pollen filter 2002 Ford focus tdci,on passenger side below wiper there is a plastic cowel the screw is under the round plastic disc on the left the other two are not screws.prise off the disc and remove the screw then carefully lift away from from the back.If there is silicon on it you will have to run a knife along the side nearest the windscreen.when plastic cowel is removed you will see the filter.lower the front of filter housing and pull out the filter,replace with new filter and silicon the cowel to stop water leakage into foot well replace screw and round disc job done.if water gets in it will blow the blower resister which is behind the glove box. 10 pounds for a new one off e bay.easy to change.
