The upper intake manifold must be removed to gain access to the fuel pressure regulator.

The fuel pressure regulator is located in the throttle body.
If you have the central injection system, you regulator is inside the plenum, next to the spider assembly. Takes about 20 minutes to get to it.
There is no 2001 S10 with a V4 engine.
It is in the throttle body.
The 1994 S10 has a fuel pressure regulator located in the throttle body.
You will need to remove the upper intake assembly to access the fuel pressure regulator. Once you have the upper intake removed a simple retaining clip is removed to allow you to replace the regulator.
It is located on the fuel rail under the hood on the intake manifold.
The 1985 Chevrolet S 10 blazer fuel pressure regulator can be found on the top of the engine. The fuel pressure regulator will be near the fuel injector pump.
To clean fuel injectors on a 1997 S10, first disconnect fuel pump from fuel injectors. Disconnect pressure regulator and connect the cleaning kit to the fuel port.
It is built into the alternator.
