In the South, it's rare to go below 0ºC. The summer is hot inside the country and in the south, and moderate in the coastal regions of north, because of the sea. Inside the country the temperatures can go up to 40 sometimes. However, some refreshing days are usual in this season, with refreshing nights.
P.S: The coldest part of Portugal is called Montalegre, which has almost similar climate to Central Europe.
