Dreams are basically gateways into your subconscious and tell you upfront of what your deepest desires are, even if you actively try to suppress them. After I graduated high school, I had a couple dreams where my entire class was executed during graduation. Why? Because after graduation I was sad that my friends and I hadn't talked since, and after I reconnected with my friends, I had a much more pleasant graduation-based dream. Basically what your mind is telling you is that for whatever reason, you desire the perfect mate, or maybe you have a crush on someone you feel is out of your league, for whatever reason, trying is infinitely better than not trying!
