it sounds like your tcc (tourqe converter clutch) switch is faulty. this is a common gm problem.

it means that transmission is about to quit working that's what I was told by a transmission shop that if the engine temperature doesn't get up to normal then a torq converter sensor will cause the converter to kick in and out, making it seem like the tranny is slipping.
