Well think of it like this, if you chew the gum noxiously it disturbs classroom students. Also the Teachers are not trustworthy of you throwing it away they think you will discard it on other school property, we just gotta deal with that, and in my opinion the gum does not keep you focused it just keeps you satisfied when your mouth is dry and has no flavor until lunch time or until you get home and eat a snack.
Kids should be allowed to chew gum in school! First of all we wouldn't have to stick it to the desk, if we were allowed to chew it in school ,because then we could throw it away without getting in trouble. It's not fair that teachers can chew gum, and we can't!
This is something I cant find the reason why it should be forbidden here is the main reason. Chewing Gum (especially mint flavor) raises the brain activity.
And there are more reasons why it shouldn't be forbidden. It is not something that disturbs your class, kids chewing gum does not mean that they are gonna stick it under their desk and many more.
Children are known for sticking there gum under desks and other places instead of the trash can.
Because it can be disruptive and people don't do it responsibly-they leave it everywhere.

Mastication, which is the act of chewing, actually stimulates the brain and allows a person to think more clearly... especially about where they should not stick their gum, which is underneath their school desk or chair. But, that is another issue.

∙ 12y agoMost of the Kids get bored at school. I know its a rule that we have to follow but it depends on the teacher, If the teacher don't care that you kid chew gum then i think it should be fine.
