There can be several things that can cause your instrument panel light fuse to blow. The most common reason is crossed wires that have corroded together.
how come my cigarette lighter keeps blowing fuses in my 2000 ranger
Check the fuse for the instrument lights, it may be blown. Another possibility is that you have inadvertently turned the instrument lights off. You can Rotate the headlight switch to adjust the instrument light brightness or to turn them off altogether.
there is a dial pin on the left side of the ref counter turn this clockwise and the clster lights will come on then ,
It neeeds to be checked out as the printed circuit can have problems. The switch that controls your driving lights ie headlights, turn signals etc. could be bad. Check the fuse first. If it keeps blowing the switch could be shorting out to gnd.
I have no dash lights or gage lights that come on in my 1982 corvette, what could be the problem ? i checked all fuses.
You have blown a fuse, look for an acc. fuse out.
You probably have a short in one of the light assemblies, turn signal lever, or the wiring.
Senior citizens will feel protected in their home when they use Sho Me emergency lights. The lights should be placed so that they are shining on the front yard as well as the back. They can be arranged to show the door to the front of the house. If the lights come on at night, it is a sign that something is in the yard. However, if the wind is blowing very hard it could trigger the light to come on as well. Animals can also trigger the light to come on.
That is were all your gauges and lights that come on when you turn the key on is. You look at it all the time to see how fast you are going.
Answer 1 - Instrument Lights Operate IntermittentlyWithout doing a "hands on troubleshooting" of your vehicle, no one here can be certain of the specific location and cause of your problem. However, based on your question, I suspect that the cause is a loose connection in the circuit providing power to the instrument lights, or on the instrument panel circuit board itself. It is possible also, that the instrument panel dimmer switch is wearing out.Answer 2 -The dash dimmer switch or the headlight switch is the most likely problem.
the dimmer switch that controls your dash light brightness may be bad.
I had the same issue. In the instrument cluster there are 3 boards. The smallest board with the odometer and transmission status displays also has the 4 lights for the back lighting. This board is plugged into the main board and can easily be changed. Theses lights short out and cannot be changed out individually, the only thing you can do is replace this board.
