Hold the off/ on button at the top of the iPod touch and the home button at the same time until you see the apple logo appear, when the turn off screen comes on do not let go keep holding the home and power button until the apple logo apears, once you see it the apple logo, let go, your home page will then appear, you apps pics etc will not be deleted

∙ 14y agoHold the home and sleep button until the apple icon appears in the background. If that doesn't work, then you may have to connect to iTunes. Hopefully, you won't have to connect to itunes, because if you do , it will delete everything. But if you do, plug into itunes and repeat the first step.

∙ 13y agoGo to the "settings" app on your ipod touch and then under settings go to "general". Once on "general settings" scroll all the way to the bottom and there is another option to push "reset" push this and it's straight forward from there :)

Make sure that iTunes is the latest version and connect the iPod to the computer. Once connected, click "restore", from there one must follow all the prompts to make sure the iPod is completely restored.
