They can if they go anywere near an oil tanker or an oil rig
The supervisor in the oil rig office will call a helicopter to take you from the rig to the secret island prison.
I think you are asking why doesn't ocean water go down the well made by a drilling rig or why doesn't the ocean water splash over the rig. The drilling rig used is in deepwater drilling is a semi-submersible, meaning that part of the rig is under water. But where the people work is pretty high off the water, as much as 75' above the water. Now, the well must be constructed so water from the ocean can not enter the well, and that oil found miles below the sea floor and under high pressure, does not enter the well. There drill pipe with a bit on the end that turns and makes a hole in the sea floor. But this drill pipe from the rig floor to the ocean bottom is inside another pipe called a marine riser. The marine riser keeps the ocean water from coming inside the well. The well must be designed so oil doesn't come into the well. As the well is drilled, the driller will circulate a heavy drilling mud, to prevent oil and gas from coming into the well. Also, they will cement in casing (basically large pipes) to keep oil and gas from entering the well. A well may have several pipes, one inside the other, used to seal the well from the formation as drilling progresses. See related link.
Oil deposits were found beneath the ocean, too far from the shore to drill from the land. Eventually someone had the bright idea to go and produce these rigs that drill at sea and the first oil rig was born. So, oil rigs were invented to pump the oil located beneath the sea bed far from shore.
They study the oceans currents and the effect they have on oceanic structures and use this information for many things, including designing deep-sea vehicles, preventing global warming and improving oil-rig structure. For more info, go to <http://oceaneng.civil.tamu.edu/>
To leave the island, you have to go back to the oil rig. Leave the lab, exit the prison, and call the helicopter on your walkie-talkie. He will take you back to the oil rig. Once you are heading to the island, you have to complete the prison security before you can call the helicopter.
No. Adding water to oil at deep frying temperature will cause a steam explosion and oil will go everywhere and burn people.
they go deep into the ground and start drilling to receive the oil.
You arrive at the Oil Rig in the middle of the ocean. Jump down and across to the rig, then to the Control Room at the top of the rig. Enter and go to the office, where the supervisor is getting a call from a top secret island location. If you agree to investigate, go back outside and take the helicopter that lands on the roof. you would need to eat apple pie and dance in a to to /region rocks brody to
it depends if the area has oil they will probebley go like 2 km down
