The year 2012 was an end of one of the cycles of the Mayan calendar, specifically the 5125-year cycle in the "Mesoamerican Long Count calendar." The Mayans believed that the world began on August 11, 3114 BC, and their civilization existed entirely within the cycle, so December 21, 2012 was the "end" of their calendar, or more specifically the end of the 13th b'ak'tun (394-year cycle).
However, any deterministic value was simply coincidental, and it became just another erroneous prediction of the End of the World. We are currently within the 14th of 19 b'ak'tun (13.x.x.x.x) which will end on March 26, 2407.
Its predicted to be 2012 but we (americans) predict not.
2012
By the mayans but I don't trust them
2012 was predicted by the Mayans because they did a very long calendar and for some reason decided to stop at the year 2012 so people think that it is the end of the world or something bad is going to happen
The Mayan calender ends on Dec. 21, 1012. They predicted the world's end. Nostradamus also predicted that there would be some kind of upheavel in 2012.
Decmber 21, 2012
supposedly (predicted by the Mayan calender) 21st of December 2012
the mayans predicted the end of the world december 21 2012
Earthquakes cannot be predicted.
No they did not predict 9-11 that was Nosrodamas who predictied the end of the world in 2012 as well as the mayans. So we don't have long left>
The Mayans predicted on their calendar that the world would end in 2012
The predicted release date for Fallout Online is 2012.
