How did Britain finally win World War 1?

They fought in trenches this is the first time of trench warfair, and after a period of time the comanders would send a lot of people over into the no man's land and they would get shot or die from barbed wire.
Trench Warfare:

WWI is widely known for the type of warfare the soldiers used. They fought using trench warfare tactics. The opposing armies would dig a trench in the ground and then lob explosives at each other using howitzers, trench mortars, and other early weapons.

Conditions:

All around the soldiers there was constant death and noise. One would have to get used to short naps in between attacks. Animals such as rats, lice, and frogs would spread disease and soiled food. Latrines were either nonexistent or normally overfilled. The air always reeked of carcasses, unwashed men, poison gas (thrown by the opposing army) and filth (as in overflowing latrines)

World War 1 was won when the americans joined in in 1918 and it was then a stake out to see who could last the longest and it was the english french the usa and thier allies however just before they won the germans used all of their boms on us.the result of this being that Germany didnt want to give all of thier equipment up to us and then eventually surrended which also kind of led to ww2 because when hitler heared that they were surrendering he was angry as he was a commander or corprle and went on to be a politition or something like that and starter ww2

the war was ended from the two atomic bombs created by USA. both of these bombs were dropped on Japan, and resulted in surrender from enemy forces
