The first acted agrresion in WW2 was Germany invading Austria wich the British and French let go to avoid war. The first real actuel battle was when Germany invaded Poland Britain and France's allie so they had no choice but to declare war. Hitler covered up the reason why of the incasion with a operation codenamed Operation Canned Goods when German Army officers at the Poland-Germany border excecuted 20 supposid Polish Army soldiers at a radio station by the border[they were actually convicts form a German prison] saying that the Polish had attacked the radio station.
