Chamberlain's subsequent policy of appeasement emerged out of the weakness of the League of Nations and the failure of collective security. The League of Nations was set up in the aftermath of the First World War in the hope that international cooperation and collective resistance to aggression might prevent another war. Members of the League were entitled to the assistance of other members if they came under attack. The policy of collective security ran in parallel with measures to achieve international disarmament and where possible was to be based on economic sanctions against an aggressor. It appeared to be ineffectual when confronted by the aggression of dictators, notably the Empire of Japan's invasion of Manchuria, German Führer Adolf Hitler's occupation of the Rhineland, and Italian leader Benito Mussolini's invasion of Abyssinia. Appeasement. National Socialist foreign policy goal was "the destruction of Russia with the help of England."[93] In May 1933, Alfred Rosenberg in his capacity as head of the Nazi Party's Aussenpolitisches Amt(Foreign Political Office) visited London as part of a disastrous effort to win an alliance with Britain.[94] In October 1933, Hitler pulled Germany out of both the League of Nations and World Disarmament Conference after his Foreign Minister Baron Konstantin von Neurath made it appear to world public opinion that the French demand for sécurité was the principal stumbling block.[95]

The main reason that the League of Nations failed, was that the countries only thought for themselves. The absence of the U.S. was a large factor in the failure of the League of Nations, but the root cause of the failure of the League was that it had no real power.
After the condemnation, Italy and Japan withdrew from the League of Nations.
the league of Nations split up during the 1940's as it turned out to be a complete failure
While the League of Nations, Britain and France were dealing with Mussolini (the prime minister of Italy), Hitler was rebuilding Germany's army in the Rhineland. Britain and France were appeasing Mussolini so that they will get Mussolini's support but Mussolini turned to Germany Due to Hitler's repowering, the League collapsed!! The abyssinia crisis was just the loaded trigger of the failure of the League but Hitler's growing power during the abyssinian invasion was what pulled the trigger
Hitler never reached or moved into Australia.

As always, nothing. The League of Nations spent most of their time sitting on their butts talking the talk and not walking the walk.
the league of nations couldn't solve problems if the protagonists did not play the game
