Islam is an Arabic word that means universally full submission to God and hence gain peace in oneself and in his community and in the world. Islam in this sense was the mission of all God prophets since start of mankind, including Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad. However, Prophet Muhammad as the last God prophet called for Islam according to the last holy book (Quran) revelation by God to prophet Muhammad.
Islam became a more universal faith because of the following main factors:
- Islam teachings, according to Quran and prophet preachings, are very straightforward, truthful, understandable, and convincing.
- Quran is the only holy book that remained, by God will, unaltered even in a single word and the only holy book that is readable in its original language with out single change all over the world all time.
- The five Islam pillars are very clear and logic. (see related question below).
- Quran Golden rules are simple and directed to mankind benefits (see related question below).
- Islam morals are based on two wings: Ritual worship and good deeds for human benefit and mankind development (see related question below).
- Prophet is a good model for any Muslim to follow. The only prophet with full recording of all his sayings, doings, practices in all aspects of his life.
- On top of all the above, the religion is currently the only religion that not deviated than the eternal doctrine of worshiping one God, the one and only one God, the Creator and considers no difference among people according to religion, culture, color, gender, ...etc. and that they differ only by the degree of their piety and usefulness to their society.
