considering that Jesus being god himself thus being omniscient or all know,a knowledge not hindered by time or other measures, his eyes probably expressed a great deal of sorrow knowing that the act of his death that would soon come would be unaccepted by so many.If you multiply this by the fact that he was(is) constantly aware of this travisty as the god/man the greif for the man part must have been unbarable. Not to mention Judas and the silver that would be indicative of the wayward side of the story from then on.The man part of him may even have felt responsible. Many people believe that the last supper was a going away party and that every one there was eating and getting drunk.I would guess that if this was also the case his eyes may have been a little bloodshot.

Why is the last supper is important?

In many ways, the artists that attempted to paint the Last Supper pretty much had to guess what the Apostles looked like; not like there were pictures anywhere. If you had meant "The" Last Supper, try comparing the details of the figures with others in other Last Suppers.

Why is the last supper important to modern day Christians?

The Last Supper or Communion is supposed to be observed as a Memorial to our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself instructed his disciples to do this "in remembrance of Me". You can find this quote in the book of Luke , Chapter 22, verse 19. I must note that observing the Lords Supper is serious business and should be done in a totally respectful manner only to honor Christ Jesus. The Last Supper is important to Christians for what it commemorates - the suffering and death of their Lord and Saviour. Jesus began this practice 'on the night when He was betrayed,' in the shadow of the cross. In the same way Christians are to live in the shadow of their own personal cross and death to self just like their Master and Lord.

Is this a simile while you prattle threw your supper?

No. If anything that is an idiom. A simile is a comparison of two things using words like "like" or "as". An example of a simile is "Her eyes are as blue as the sky".

Why do Christian have communion?

Christians celebrate Holy Communion to remember Jesus' death and resurrection. We have been urged by Jesus to continue doing this until he comes again.According to Mark, at the Last Supper Jesus said, "This is my body, which is being given for you; do this in remembrance of me." In like manner he took also the cup after the supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which shall be shed for you."These words are the basis for the Eucharist or Holy Communion

Who is the commander of the army of the Lord?

I say that Jesus is the commander of the Lords army, because whenever it is an angel, it SAYS that it is an angel, it is just like Jesus to come like a soldier, think, for example, Jesus came to Abraham and Sara as a traveler, he came to the apostles just like a normal stranger, and he came to Joshua as a soldier, to give him courage.
