Gandhi and his non violence movement played a big part in India s independence struggle.

Gandhi was the main inspiration for movement for indian independence. He led the campaign to defeat colonialism in this country, and for that reason he is honoured as the father of the nation. It was during world war two he led to quit india campaign to get britain to leave india immediately.

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (1869-1948), the greatest Indian person for ever, was the biggest, greatest helper fighting with British people who wanted to rule over India. He was the bravest (from body... He did it because he did not want to see his country suffer. He also wanted everyone to be treated fair.

Gandhi Mahatma helped the Indians for discrimination.The Indians were treated as second class citizens by the british.Which changes brought by the british were cultural and which were technological.

By showing them that they didn't have to be dependent on the British rule so he created a few movements first was the salt march and etc. in the end he was able to free India from British rule by creating boycotts and by peace full movements.
