Muhammad is known as the last prophet in the Islamic faith. He was praying on a mountain and said that God spoke to him through an angel and chose Muhammad as a prophet.
Muhammad, the founder of Islam.
Allah (or God and same God worshiped in Judaism and Christianity) spoke to prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) the same way spoke to all other God prophets including Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus (peace be upon them all). Allah spoke to prophet Muhammad mostly through revelation or through the angel Jibril (or Gabriel) . Quran says (meaning English translation): "And it is not for any human being that Allah should speak to him except by revelation or from behind a partition or that He sends a messenger to reveal, by His permission, what He wills. Indeed, He is Most High and Wise." (42:51)
Christians do not believe in Muhammad as a prophet. Christians follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, while Muslims believe that Muhammad is the final prophet of God.
Sunnis; as all other Muslims; believe in God (Allah) as the one and only one God and prophet Muhammad is his prophet and Messenger. They believe in Quran as God revelation to prophet Muhammad (PBUH). They follow Quran and prophet Muhammad teachings. Refer to question below for more details.
Muslim ascetics, like all Muslims, believe that there is no god but God and that Muhammad is the Messenger of God. They are monotheists and believe in the Qur'an.
the god is allah, the most meriful and beneficial.
As I see it, the Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet, but Muhammad was a more recent prophet. But they are very different because Jesus Christ is God, (Titus 2.13), and Muhammad is a prophet that tells of another God, Allah.
#1:Muslims believe that there is no god but Allah Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. #2:Musalims believe that God write the Qur'an. #3:Muslims believe that Allah began his revelations to Muhammad in the month of Ramadan.
You are confusing two religions. Christians believe that Jesus Christ came to die for our sins and allow us an eternity with God. They believe that he is the Son of God. Muslims believe that Jesus was only a prophet. They believe that Muhammad was God's most high prophet.
God spoke to them directly, on Mount Sinai. This was in the presence of millions of witnesses.
